The Galapagos Islands are always a wish-list destination and Celebrity Cruises is opening a new chapter of cruises on their purpose-built exploration ship Celebrity Flora.
Bookings are open for more than 50 all-inclusive sailings in 2028. They include inner and outer loop sailings and extended experiences include opportunities to explore Quito, Ecuador, as well as Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in Peru.
The Forbes Travel Guid-rated Celebrity Flora is specifically designed for exploring the archipelago, and features locally sourced and globally inspired cuisine and one-of-a-kind experiences like onboard glamping under the stars.
Every sailing offers unforgettable experiences – from encountering the iconic Galapagos giant tortoises, snorkeling with sea lions, kayaking with sea turtles. Itineraries led by Galapagos National Park expert naturalists immerse guests in the destination each day, on shore and sea excursions to discover the breathtaking nature and wildlife of the diverse island archipelago.
“The Galapagos is one of the most extraordinary places on Earth, and we are privileged to offer our guests an elevated and intimate way to explore the region on the award-winning Celebrity Flora,” said Celebrity president Laura Hodges Bethge, “Beyond delivering once in a lifetime experiences, we are also committed to supporting the long term conservation of these remarkable islands through our sustainability initiatives and community projects.”

Celebrity is closing in on a major milestone in 2028: the planting of its 100,000th tree through the Rewilding Galapagos initiative, carried out in partnership with Galapagos National Park. The newly renovated Hernán Carrión Nursery, sponsored by the Celebrity Cruises Galapagos Fund, grows all the native plants used in the effort. On each itinerary, Celebrity Flora guests visit a reforestation area with Galapagos National Park naturalist guides to plant seedlings. To date, guests have helped restore more than 86 acres to support the incredibly biodiverse habitats that are home to iconic plant and animal species.
Driven by a mission to deliver the best vacations responsibly, Celebrity Cruises is championing a broader commitment to SEA the Future by supporting environmental stewardship, energizing communities, and accelerating innovation.
