Celebrity Cruises has made a choice of perks a permanent part of its pricing: Go!Big, Go!Better, Go!Best, follows up on promotions Celebrity has run in the past, but this one applies on all cruises from Oct., 2015 to April, 2017.
Guests in ocean-view, balcony and suites can choose one of four Go!Big options: a classic beverage package, free gratuities, unlimited Internet or a $150-per-person spending credit. In effect, cruise-only pricing at Celebrity will be eliminated, except for inside cabins.
Go!Better fares include a choice of two options. Go!Best provides all four, and substitutes a Premium beverage package for the Classic package.
Celebrity says the fare plan is good for consumers because buying the perks separately would cost more than the bundle. And they call it a win for travel agents as well, because it effectively raises commissions. The new pricing will not apply to Celebrity’s Xpedition ship or to trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific crossings.
