Food Trucks and Calypso at Carnival’s Celebration Key

Food trucks along the beach at Celebration Key--Carnival Cruise Line

Food trucks and snack shacks will join four sit-down restaurants and 12 bars on Celebration Key, Carnival Cruise Line’s new private beach destination on Grand Bahama opening in July, 2025.

Guests will find a variety of food trucks with self-ordering kiosks in the Calypso and Starfish lagoons. The food trucks will feature classics like chicken sandwiches and burgers as well as Bahamian items like conch fritters. They’ll be joined by snack shacks throughout the beach zone that serve cold beverages and grab-and-go items like hot dogs, sandwiches, wraps and salads.

An Island Eats program will enable each guest to use their Sail & Sign card for one complimentary meal at quick casual outlets, snack shacks and food trucks across Celebration Key. Or, they can choose to receive 25 per cent off one entrée per person at the full-service restaurants (excluding Pearl Cove Beach Club restaurant).

The waterfront of the island’s Calypso Lagoon will feature Mingo’s Tropical Bar & Kitchen, a full-service restaurant. Named after the Bahamas’ national bird, the flamingo, Mingo’s will serve Bahamian favorites like fried fish and conch fritters as well as other seafood, burgers, tacos, steak, and sandwiches.

Another Calypso Lagoon restaurant Surf N’ Sauce BBQ & Brews will feature slow-smoked meats prepared in an outdoor smoker and served with an array of sauces and sides. Its bar will serve craft beer from Bahamian breweries.
