Yep, it’s going to be a party ship. Jimmy Buffett’s laid-back lifestyle songs are the inspiration for the Margaritaville Paradise.
The relaunch in April will follow a multi-million dollar renovation of the 658-cabin ship formerly known as Grand Classica to feature Margaritaville’s signature casual-luxe style and activities on two- and three-night cruises between Palm Beach and Grand Bahama Island.
Food and beverage options will include JWB Prime Steak & Seafood, Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria, Port of Indecision Buffet, LandShark Sports Bar and Margaritaville Coffee & Pastry Shop as well as the Euphoria Lounge, Sunset Bar and 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. The ship will offer activities and entertainment, including the Par-A-Dice Casino, a Stars on the Water Theater, St. Somewhere Spa, Fins Up! Fitness Center, pools, a retail shop and more.
“From oceans to lakes, Margaritaville has an organic tie to the water and with Margaritaville at Sea, we’re able to put our iconic lifestyle, resort experiences and elevated service directly on the sea,” said John Cohlan, Margaritaville’s CEO.
The ship, originally built as the Costa neoRomantica and owned by the company formerly known as Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line was taken out of service in November and went into a drydock at Grand Bahama Shipyard for the refit.
