MSC Cruises is gearing up to be the title sponsor of three Formula 1 World Championship Grands Prix in 2025. The cruise line’s name will be in the titles of the Austrian Grand Prix in Jue, the United States Grand Prix in October and the São Paulo Grand Prix in November
MSC Cruises says the collaboration between the two world-class brands reflects Formula 1’s continuing global growth and the continued popularity of cruising as a holiday choice. It also adds to the company’s Global Partner status, which it has had since 2022.
MSC Group’s luxury travel brand, Explora Journeys, will also be making an appearance at Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco in May, when the newest ship in the fleet, Explora II, will be docked in the heart of Monaco’s Port Hercule, offering a prime position for avid race fans throughout race week. She will also play host to a series of spectacular events, providing a fitting venue for one of the most anticipated races and its star-studded crowd and being a luxurious home-away-from-home for guests throughout the weekend.
Headquartered in Geneva, MSC Cruises is the world’s third-largest cruise line and the market leader in Europe, South America, the Middle East, and Southern Africa. It also has a strong and growing presence in North America and the Far East.
The MSC Cruises fleet consists of 22 modern ships with three new vessels due to be launched, including the MSC World America, which starts service from Miami in April, 2025.
