MSC Cruises is making a long-term commitment to the North American market , with a big expansion of its presence in the Caribbean. When MSC Divina – one of the line’s most modern ships – returns from her season in the Mediterranean, she will sail year-round from Miami to the Caribbean starting November, 2015.
And in addition, the MSC Seaside, the first of a new class of ships that’s set to debut in November, 2017 will also sail year-round from Miami to the Caribbean., said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises
MSC has also revealed that MSC Seaside will feature an aqua park with five water slides, being built by water park designer WhiteWater West Industries of Canada. Unique features include a Slideboarding game, in which guests can race on rafts fitted with game controllers that can keep score on their performance. A set of Aquatubes will also let guests experience a twisting turning water slide ride that includes a segment that goes out over the side of the ship.
