The countdown is in the final hours for what MSC Cruises is promising is a world of new experiences on its biggest ship yet–MSC World America.
As its name implies, the 22-deck tall ship featuring 2,614 staterooms is aimed for the interests and tastes of North Americans. And it offers seven onboard districts designed to help guests choose their own holiday experience.
Orlando Bloom is getting in on the excitement. The actor who stars in the line’s Let’s Holiday ad campaign is known for his love of adventure and meaningful travel experiences. He praised the ship’s dynamic blend of European style and American comfort. “MSC World America has something for everyone, whether you are into thrilling rides, world-class dining, or immersive entertainment.”
Here are his choices for the most anticipated experiences on MSC World America:

Cliffhanger: For thrill seekers
Feel the rush as you swing over the water 150 feet in the air in the Family Aventura district. Four can get on the swing at once and dangle from the top deck on Cliffhanger—the only over-water swing ride at sea. Look down if you dare.
The Harbour: A Go-to for families
Another feature of the Family Aventura is the Harbour, designed for kids and families to engage in outdoor activities, snack and enjoy the sun in the Family Aventura district. Its all-day activities include an aquapark, 11-story dry slide, ropes course, shaded family rest area, thematic playground and a fast-casual dining spot.
Join the Dirty Dancing
Guests can join in on the fun at Dirty Dancing in Concert. The 90-minute live-to-film concert experience will bring the World Theatre to life, with several chances to enjoy a live band, dazzling dancers and spectacular singers belting out classic songs in sync with the movie. The energy continues as guests can dance up the aisles to a Dirty Dancing-themed after party continuing well into the night.
Indulge in Eataly at Sea
MSC World America will feature the only Eataly restaurant at sea, offering a menu that covers the icons of Italian gastronomy and includes some of the brand’s most-loved dishes, along with options exclusively available on board. Guests can enjoy an unparalleled ingredient selection carefully sourced from Italian suppliers, with freshly made pasta crafted on-site. The restaurant’s design incorporates warm materials, natural tones and soft lighting, fostering an informal yet elegant atmosphere. The open kitchen will maintain Eataly’s commitment to showcasing production processes live in front of guests’ eyes. https://cruisington.com/get-ready-to-eataly-on-world-america/
Eventful watering holes

All-Stars Sports Bar – This lively and vibrant venue is the perfect spot to watch the big game while enjoying drinks and classic bar food. Guests can enjoy signature sports bar games including interactive darts, digital shuffleboard and foosball, or relax on the large terrace offering unrivalled ocean views.

And LEGO® experiences for all ages
MSC World America will feature the first LEGO® parade at sea, designed to entertain children of all ages as characters march through the ship to the World Promenade. In the Family Aventura Zone, parents and children can play together in a new area to learn tricks building with the bricks. Then there’s a LEGO Game Show–A family team challenge in the Luna Park arena where guests can compete to be Master Builders with timed challenges leading up to crowning a winner.
It all starts on April 9, when MSC World America will be named in a glitzy ceremony presided over by the ship’s Godmother Drew Barrymore at MSC Cruises’ new PortMiami terminal—the largest cruise terminal in the world.
The ship will offer alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries year-round, with stops in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; Isla de Roatan, Honduras; and all sailings include a visit to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises’ private island in The Bahamas.
