Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship Norwegian Prima made her debut in New York, along with a visit to Halifax, on the way to a premiere winter season sailing from Florida.
The newest of NCL’s 18-ship fleet showcases exclusive features that will be only available on the ship and coming fleet-mates in a new Prima Class, including a three-level racetrack at sea. Unique dining is featured in a new food venue, Indulge and The Metropolitan is the cruise industry’s first sustainable cocktail bar featuring responsibly crafted zero-waste cocktails.
Carrying up to 3.100 guests, Norwegian Prima boasts the highest staffing levels and space ratio of any contemporary or premium cruise ship. A redefined ship-within-a-ship known as The Haven by Norwegian is an ultra-premium area accessibly only by key card.
After completing her first set of voyages from New York City and Galveston, Prima will sail from Miami in the winter and return to sailings from the Big Apple to Bermuda from March through May, 2023, and then do northern European itineraries from Reykjavik, Iceland and Southampton, United Kingdom in the warm months.
The Cruisington Times will be featuring full reviews of Norwegian Prima in coming weeks.
