Postcards from Paris to Tide You Over Until You Can Get There Again

We'll always have Paris--Photo by Wallace Immen

Remember when it took an hour in line to get into the Louvre, even if you had a ticket? Remember when you could get into the Louvre?.

If it all seems so last month, it was. This year, April in Paris, or April anywhere, has suddenly become the stuff of nostalgia. But count on it–maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life–we’ll always have Paris.

The crowded cafes, the scrumptious restaurants, the extravaganzas, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower will all be coming back, and so will the irresistible urge to visit the City of Light.

Here are some picture postcards captured during a wonderfully carefree interlude in Paris in 2019 after a memorable Rhone river cruise in Burgundy. Yes, cruising will be coming back better than ever too.

Meanwhile, enjoy these images and a chance to dream before you can purchase your tickets again:
