Sea Cloud Cruises is offering up to 65 per cent off voyages that include new Venice roundtrips on its newest ship Sea Cloud Spirit that feature overnight stay docked within steps of historic St. Marks Square. And for travelers seeking a shorter taster cruise, there’s a four-night voyage on Sea Cloud II between Barcelona and Nice.
“As we kick off for our second full season focused on growing the North American market, the sales and marketing team has carefully selected 30 voyages that represent Sea Cloud Cruises’ authentic tall ship sailing at its best,” says Sea Cloud Cruises President North America Mirell Reyes. “Our new Catch the Early Wave promotion provides enticing savings, including four sailings on the 1931-built original Sea Cloud and my personal favorite itinerary in 2025 – Venice roundtrip on Sea Cloud Spirit.”
On each of the three sailing yachts, the sails are still traditionally hoisted by hand – an impressive and stunning feat every time. There are no buttons that can simply be pressed and it takes almost a full hour and crew balancing on the spars until all sails catch the wind. Each voyage includes at least one day under full sail, a highlight of the Sea Cloud Cruises experience.
The original Sea Cloud will spend 2025 celebrating her 94-year history before an extended scheduled drydock. This sailing legend, commissioned in 1931 by Marjorie Merriweather Post and E. F. Hutton, has been meticulously restored to Old World glamor, with original suites and classic sailing decks. Upcoming Catch the Early Wave Sea Cloud voyages for 2025 include eight days Sardinia the Menorca including overnight under full sail. And there are a pair of 9-night Athens roundtrips.
The more modern Sea Cloud II marries modern luxuries with the romance of a tall ship. Upcoming voyages ono said include Barcelona to Nice four-night cruise and Athens round trips that include a day under full sail.
Sea Cloud Spirit is the newest and largest sailing yacht, with almost half of the 69 suites and outside staterooms featuring balconies or opening windows features 9-night sailings from Venice along the Adriatic coast including Dubrovnik and Korcula. Other itineraries include Naples to Malta.
ea Cloud Cruises voyages include open bar, all meals with exclusive wine and beer selections, water sports, shore excursions, port charges, gratuities, and welcome bottle of champagne upon embarkation. Fares per person, based on double occupancy start at $2,150. For a full list contact a travel advisor visit the website. www.seacloud.com.
