The 388-guest Silver Shadow is the next to get an extensive rebuilding as part of Project Invictus, Silversea Cruises’ fleet upgrade program. The all-suite ship will get a new Atrium area on Deck 5 and enhancements to all suites, corridors and many public spaces.

During the refit in November, 2019, the ship’s guest suites and corridors will undergo a floor-to-ceiling renovation, inspired by the design and color palette of Silver Muse. Bathrooms will also be upgraded with new sinks and trim.

Among other enhancements are:

New Atrium & Arts Café: The space currently occupied by the Lobby, Boutique and Casino will be redesigned as a social hub with boutiques and an Arts Café offering coffee and pastries by day and cocktails during evening hours.

More of La Dame: The popular La Dame restaurant will be refurbished and enlarged to accommodate more diners to ensure every guest has the opportunity to experience its chic French inspired cuisine.

Observation Library: Formerly the Observation Lounge, this Deck 10 space at the fore of the ship becomes the Observation Library.

Zagara Spa & Fitness Centre: The top-to-bottom renovation will add new steam and sauna rooms, fully refurbished treatment rooms and updated state-of-the-art fitness equipment,

Casino and smoke: A complete redesign of the ship’s ever-popular Casino will entail moving it to Deck 8, and placing it adjacent to a relocated Connoisseur’s Corner, the cigar lounge what will feature a new outdoor smoking area.

Silver Shadow’s debut after the transformation will be in the Caribbean, starting with a cruise from Fort Lauderdale on December 3, 2019.
