Iconic supermodel Twiggy will be the godmother of two ships being launched by Europe’s newest river cruise company, Emerald Waterways. Like Twiggy, the ships are sleek, stylish and trend setting, the company says. The new ships Emerald Sky and Emerald Star will each have 72 suites and 20 staterooms for a total guest capacity of 182. Unique features include an on-board heated swimming pool with a retractable roof and two restaurants. The April 9 celebration and official christening takes place in Amsterdam.
