MV Origin, a luxury vessel carrying just 20 passengers, has become one of the smallest members of the esteemed Relais & Châteaux collection. It joins an international club of hotels, chefs and restaurants that set the standard for excellence in hospitality.

MV Origin is one of only 21 new members worldwide selected to join the prestigious international association of 550 hotels, chefs and restaurants in 2018. Origin’s four-course, chef-driven Ecuadorian menus incorporate fresh, indigenous ingredients such as avocado, coconut and cacao. The sustainably sourced meals can also be prepared to accommodate vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets.

One of four sustainable Ecoventura vessels, MV Origin offers seven-night itineraries through the Galapagos archipelago. The 10 staterooms are designed with luxury travelers in mind and feature sleek, convertible furnishings, modern amenities  including rainfall showers and plush bathrobes, and panoramic windows with unobstructed ocean views.

Built in 2016 for the family-run expedition company, MV Origin consumes 30 per cent less fossil fuel than similar vessels and features a fitness center, open bar and inviting social areas with hammocks, a Jacuzzi, daybeds and loungers. The ship’s curved bow and high-tech stabilizing system is designed to cut through waves for smoother sailing.
