Silversea Cruises is organizing its suites into four categories, including one described as Residences. And the top categories are getting new perks on top of Silversea’s existing inclusions, such as butler service, 24-hour in-suite dining, complimentary Wi-Fi, multiple dining options, beverages, port fees, taxes, and gratuities.
The new Oceanview, Veranda, Residence and Villa categories will provide their own set of comforts, says Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea. “Guests choose to sail with Silversea time and time again for the intimacy of our ships and the personal attention that comes with it. Our new suite categories let us build directly on that foundation. Whether that’s with early access to spa and dining reservations or dedicated time with the ship’s head sommelier.”
The 17 types of suites on ships will be tiered in four categories:
Oceanview— Panorama and Vista suites, featuring large windows with expansive ocean views.
Veranda– Premium Veranda, Deluxe Veranda, Superior Veranda, Classic Veranda, and Veranda suites, each with a private balcony extending the living space outdoors.
Residences— Junior Grand, Signature, Silver, Premium Medallion, and Medallion suites, offering separate bedroom and living spaces for guests seeking additional room.
Villas— Otium, Master, Owner’s, Grand, and Royal suites, the brand’s most expansive accommodations, with generous living spaces and large terraces.
Oceanview and Veranda guests will continue to enjoy the personalized, all-inclusive service standard offered across all Silversea suites. Effective for sailings departing on or after Jan. 1, 2027, Residence and Villa guests will also receive an expanded set of benefits.
Residences guests will experience an even more streamlined embarkations process and early access to spa treatments and dining reservations 150 days before sailing.
Villa guests will receive the inclusions of the Residence Category plus private transfer for air travel booked through Silversea. Guests will also receive priority embarkation on Classic Voyages, early suite access, and a welcome escort. In addition, there will be consultations including one-on-one time with the ship’s chef, sommelier, and spa manager to personalize dining, wine pairings, and wellness goals.
A selection of curated moments, including a chef-selected in-suite dining experience, an in-suite afternoon tea, a stargazing evening with Champagne and caviar, in-suite cocktail celebrations for hosting guests, and a cigar-and-whiskey pairing.
A Technogym exercise bag, including a yoga mat, resistance bands, and a roller, available in every Villa Category suite.
At select debarkation ports on Classic Voyages, guests will enjoy continued access to dining, beverages, and onboard spaces on the final day, with luggage stored and Wi-Fi active until the ship’s next departure.
On Expedition Voyages, Villa Category guests can gear up and head out on their own schedule with Flexible Zodiac Departure, joining their preferred Zodiac group. They can also secure priority entry to a kayaking session of their choice and get behind-the-scenes access to expedition operations alongside onboard experts.
Guests can book new suite categories for 2027 cruises now.
